this is my barca team =]
this is my formation i have always used for my barca team.
and its won me at least the treble every year.

i have extreme talent ( i think )

and need some ideas on who to field for starting 11.

8/10 very nice, though its hard to rate when some of your players are players who can become good and I dont know how good they are in your game.
Also for that formation I would suggest getting more natural DM as you have no truly talented DM and also you have too many players playing in same position, why have all of Messi, Ronaldinho, Santos, Ronaldo, Giovinco, Fabregras, Kaka and Vela and no DM's...

GK- Valdes
DR- Zambrotta or Richards (how good is he in 2009?)
DL- Chiellini or Zambrotta (if using Richards)
DC- Puyol
DC- K Toure
DM- Y Toure
DM- Veloso
AMC- Kaka
AMR- Messi
AML- Ronaldinho
FC- Bojan (presuming he has devloped nicely by 2009.

i would much differently from g-man except i wouldnt play yaya i would rather fab so heres my line up

GK - valdes
DL - chiellini/zambrotta
DR - richards/ zambrotta
DC - puyol
DC - toure
MC - fabregas
MC - veloso
AML - ronaldinho
AMR - messi/ ronaldo (rotation really)
AMC - kaka
ST - benzema

i think the choice of whether to play zambrotta or not depends on if you want you full backs to be attack ing as well if so them play him and cheillini if not play richards instead.

as g-man said you may need another DM and shud thinkl about getting rid of one or 2 of your attacking players probbaly giovinco and santon unless you want them to be the future stars then it may dinho who could be leaving but nether the less an awesome team just may be lacking in defence slightly like if zambrotta and crichards gets injured who plays right back? same with the left as well so keep that in mind
