Where is your referee based for games in Conference North and Conference South games???

Should the referees in Conference South/North be regional?

I know this doesn't help, but I must admit that I do not even look at the referee's name, let alone where he is from.

If a Conference South game takes place is that referee from the south? and vice versa for North.

I don't think a referee from Durham, Manchester etc would come all the way down to London to referee in my Sutton game?

I was wondering the general concenus of this from everybody else?

Actually, I don't care.
The playing experience for me is the same, no matter where the referee is coming from.

I would say that would be logical. However, it is easier for a Manchester referee to get to London than it is for a guy from Devon or Cornwall to get to Hampshire. Maybe it is even more regional than North/South.

Often at Conference North/South level there's a regen referee with no name, because there are only 6 or 7 active referees per league.

And I don't really look at the adress of the referee during a match. I even wouldn't if they did put it in the game, except maybe after a very unfair decision . So I don't want some bit of precious processor power diverted to calculating what the closest living referee is and if he feels like refereeing my game yes or no...

If it's going to be a really close game I might look up the referee's cards record to change my playing style a bit, but that's about it when it comes to my interest in referees.

I never look at where the referee is from. He's not going to be from either the town of my club or the opponents, so I don't see how it is important to my match.
