Nor me, it would feel a bit like getting a new bike for Christmas, but having to spend the week before putting it together yourself, then wrapping it up for the big day.

Jimbo, sometimes people get to apply to test FM, can't remember when that last happened.

Mostly people get invited because they have contributed on the forums and "seem" to demonstrate the right attributes to effectively test the game, and more importantly to report back on it.

Not a foolproof selection technique tbh.

You're among several who I'm surprised have never been invited.

I don't think they look at the LLM forum when they decide to recruit, which is a pity, because in my humble opinion those LLamas who wanted to test the game would be ideally suited to do so.

Patience, constant going back to square one, fatalism, a sense of humour and literacy are ideal characteristics for a tester.
Those qualities abound in LLM, more so than on any other FM forum.

Can I get back to slagging you all off now?

There are plenty of LLM testers, as far as I am aware.

Take another enema, or just keep talking yourself into a corner
enema is a tester and even though he may not have access to the ftp himself, he could always ask a lead tester to get a file from it so he can load it in his game and see if the bug is reproducable before adding it to TTPro.

Assumptions Kriss, you know the rest

I'll think you'll find all current in-house testers (as enema is) are hired in the normal 'apply - interview' process. I believe if we all wasted time proof-reading and making sure grammar is correct in every post we made, less time would be spent on the actual job we've been hired to do.

How about treating people on this forum with a bit of respect please? Thanks.

You don't waste time reading things properly either, the subject was external testers.

I read my post again and am still looking for any disrespect I might have demonstrated.

The slagging off comment was a joke incredible as that may seem.

Fair enough, my unreserved apologies to enema, (still a crap handle though)
