Default Can't even get a scout at Worksop for 'bob-a-job' week.

First off, some might consider this tipping, so if you're sensitive then read no further.

If mods consider it so, then please feel free to close.

I'm in my first season managing Worksop. I had my scout poached by Barnsley before I'd even reached the end of July and I have now been advertising the position in Worksop job centre for six months. Not a single chap has sent in an application form.

Has anyone else experienced this little inconvenience and, if so, how long should I expect to wait by the phone waiting for one to apply? Things are starting to get a little desperate.

In order to tip you have to impart some helpful information, Chocolate Simian...as far as I can see you haven't

I suggest not waiting by your phone for it to ring as you are playing a computer game.

Re-read my post. I'm asking for the tip, not imparting it. That is why the penultimate sentence concludes with a question mark. I gave the warning that the thread may contain tips later on as a courtesy to other posters.

Hmmm...do I have to explain the meaning of a wink at the end of such a sentence?

Sincerest apologies, I'm inexperienced in the intricacies of internet symbology. I assumed the wink symbolised smugness, not sarcasm.

Stuff the job centre and go back to the old fashioned way in this instance.

You could also ask your grandma (which can either be your biological one or your aging striker) to help you out.

Prior to scouting being available in FM, how did llamas find players? - was it just by watching opposing players solely that your team was playing against?

Have a read of the history.

LLM rules for scouting couldn't exist before CM3, though you could filter by scout reccomendations in earlier versions (painful as it was).
