I started off at Scarborough, some misplaced sympathy and wish to play with a team on -10 points drew me there, but things didn'r work out and I *ahem* left to join Leigh after a season.
This and that happened, I got a Scottish AssMan, struggled a bit, but eventually we were promoted to the Championship the season before last...i.e. spent last season in The Championship.

Heh! I love this game...welcome to the EPL
Next four games, in 13 days, are all away, against Liverpool (  ), Chelsea, Tottenham and Villa...followed by a home game against ManUre
If we get four points out of 15 I'll consider it a triumph (and not a Bonneville  )

Astonishingly we got 7 points out of 15 in that run, I was stoked!
Anyhoo... Season 2017/18
We finished 7th, many points behind Chelsea, but as a wee bonus we beat them 2-0 on the last game of the season to cement 7th and gain admission to the UEFA Cup.
This season coming will be one of consolidation, if possible. We have little or no money to buy players, the £13.75m almost all went to pay off debts.
Our 37t/o striker has signed on for another season, but he wheezes when pulling on his socks now so I can see him hitting the reserves before long.
Incidentally, I'll be managing the reserves myself in the coming season so we'll see how the players are developing, if at all.
Cups? Mugs!

Season 2018/19

For the past God knows how many years I've laboured the fact "Cups suck @ss".
After an atrocious start (P8, W0, D4, L4) we did not too bad and were in 4th place in the EPL when we played Liverpool ( ) in the League Cup final.
We won 1-0, and there began one of the biggest turnarounds I've seen. We aquaplaned to P14, W1, D7, L6 and finished 12th.
Cups suck @ss, boys... never try to win them | |
