Ok, I'm considering trying out LLM, my old game with everton was boring me, and I have a Man Utd one that is only being played because I had started a story on it.
I know the LLM mantra (if you think you're cheating, you more than likely are) so my main question is: How do you go about preventing yourself "cheating" as it were in LLM.
P.S. before anyone asks, yes I have been in GPTG until now (Cue boos and hisses), but understand that was only to re-gain experience with the game and it's little nuances
P.P.S. to save me scouring through post after post, Is the physicality of the lower leagues shown in the game?
I don't need to stop myself from it at all, the desire to cheat simply isn't there. I know it will sour any satisfaction I derive from my struggles in-game.
If you mean what can't you do in game (player search screen etc.) then there are stickies which explain all that.
We don't have to keep ourselves from cheating, RossDee. Nobody of us has an urge to cheat, so we don't have to go out of our ways to avoid cheating.
LLM is about enjoying the game in a realistic fashion. Struggle and failure are normal (and very realistic) parts of a management career. There is no sweet without the sour. By using any means/shortcuts to make the game easier, a LLaMa would only hamper and ruin his playing experience.
As for your other question: yes, in some lower leagues you'll see physical violence in almost every game.
If you're really worried about if you're going to use outside knowledge, try managing in Sweden or some like that. You wont know any of the players anyway, so there's no temptation.
Previous knowledge of players means nothing, most of us only sign players found by our scout(s). So even if I knew Mr. Asdf is a star and plays for Forfar, it would be no use to me unless my scouts discovered him.
