2006/07
Board/fans: safe midtable
Media Prediction: 13th
Players in: Veteran striker from Conference club on a free
Players out: D R/L to Witton for £1K (and the board only let me have £250 of the transfer fee )
Loans in:
Ambitious midfielder from same Conference club as striker for the whole season.
AM R/C from league side from October to the end.
Quality (for this level) striker from Championship club for two short spells.
Loans out:
supposedly first team GK and AM R, "hot prospect" striker and alright defender to feeder club Radcliffe.
Another supposed first team defender to Cambridge City for a couple of months.
Staff in: - Fitness coach on a free from non league side
League: Started off well with 3 wins in a row then my Everton-supporting striker tore his calf. Without his goals, we went on a 9 game streak without a win leaving us 20th including a 6-1 defeat at Hucknall! The team then started picking up points and climbing up the table. On the last day, a win was needed to get into the playoffs and other results needed to go our way. We duly beat Farsley and as Scarborough lost, we were in the playoffs!! We faced Leigh RMI in the semis, winning both legs 1-0 and 2-1 then played Stalybridge in the final. We lost 2-1 which was disappointing but maybe it would have been a bit too early to go up for my young squad. (5th, P: 42 W: 19 D: 9 L: 14 Pts: 66)
FA Cup: Got to second round using replays in every rounnd except the 4th qualifying. Then we lost to Fisher live on TV who promptly drew Tottenham at home in the next round.
FA Trophy: After replay victories against Heybridge (3-3, 3-0) and Altrincham (3-3, 4-3), we lost to Hinckley in the second round.
Average attendence: 549
Debt: £100k
Highlights: Top scorers in the division with Everton-supporting striker getting 19 despite missing 4 months while injured and quality loan striker getting 20 in 21.
Best matches: last two league games against Farsley and Worcester. 8-0 and 6-3.
Lows: conceding too many, inconsistancy, debt
Worst matches: 6-1 to (at the time) relegation fighting rivals Hucknall.
Fans player of the year: Influential left winger
2007/08
Board/fans: safe midtable
Media prediction: 13th
Players in: fairly ambitious M R/L/C from Barnsley
Players out: 6 on free transfers, balanced D C for £12k to Northwich
Loans in: Fast striker from Premiership parent club, Oldham D R/L for first 11 games, decent English GK with Spanish name, AM R/C from league side (same as 06-07) and Welsh rightback from Bradford and centre back from Bury for last 2 months of the season.
Loans out: -
Staff: replaced whole setup!
League: Consistantly upper midtable, but never really challenging for playoffs despite getting 3 more points than last season. (6th, P: 42 W: 20 D: 9 L: 13 Pts: 69)
FA Cup: 4th qualifying round to Exeter.
FA Trophy: 2nd round out to Kettering in replay.
Average attendence: 493
Debt: £150k
Highlights: Top scorers in the division again with fast striker getting 27 goals.
Best matches: 6-1 v Redditch
Lows: Consistantly inconsistant all season, conceding way too many again, debt rising again.
Worst matches: 5-1 v Hinckley
Fans player of the year: Everton-supporting striker
2008/09
Board/fans: safe midtable
Media prediction: 8th
Players in: no-one
Players out: 1 released
Loans in: lightning striker from parent club (who I played M R for season), U21 international italian striker from parent club, decent keeper and fairly professional full back from Bury. Also Scottish AM C from parent club for 3 months.
Loans out: Veteran striker and previous first choice GK to Radcliffe.
Staff: GK coach from league side.
League: Shocking start, amazing run then consistantly in playoff zone (though briefly 1st) for rest of the season. So, it was the playoffs again. In the first leg, raced into 3-0 lead after Scarborough's keeper was sent off, then gave it all away in 2nd half. Lost 2-0 with only a whimper at home. (2nd, P: 42 W: 22 D: 10 L: 10 Pts: 76)
FA Cup: Hammered 5-1 by Accrington in the first round.
FA Trophy: Out to Rushden in firsst round replay.
Average attendence: 874
Debt: back to £100k!
Highlights: Better defence, consistancy for most of the season.
Best matches: nothing stands out, just a consistantly good season.
Lows: Not being top scorers, drawing 3-3 against 10 man Scarborough in playoff semi when 3-0 up with their keeper sent off.
Worst matches: 3-3 v Scarborough, 5-4 defeat to Hucknall with 2 last minute goals.
Top goalscorer: U21 international italian striker with 29
First time, I would have thought it would be ok now to delete the relationship and carry on. Although I am also astounded as to how you have managed to attract loanees from various different, higher level clubs. Are you sure your scouts found these players?
Otherwise KUTGW, just try and flatten out these little errors and this has the makings of a really good career.

Yes they did find these players apart from those from feeder club. The scouts said they'd be interested in joining on loan so I bidded and they accepted. But most players the scouts find reject me.
