How many people do you sign lol , you should try playing in Australian league, limit on number of players and salary cap.

My squad always shrinks in numbers during the summer as all of the out of contract players suddenly think they are worth double their wages and the board also think it would be a good idea to decrease the wage bill annually!

First day of the window and there's all these guys standing outside my office. "I signed you when?"
I found that looking regularly at the "Future Transfers In" menu helps a lot Not looking at it I found myself sometimes signing 5 left backs and stuff like this :p

No wonder I'm always short at left back. You have them all!

Iirc it doesn't show their position in future transfers so you have to go into each profile.

I know I gave up on it for a reason

I generally sign everybody .

And their mums .

Sometimes even their grandmums .

And often on enormous long contracts .

And I don't tend to let my Freds leave either .

I'm with the aeroplane.

Anyone with the merest hint of talent (as suggested by my scouts) gets signed. Usually for as long as I can get away with. 20-21 is the time I start ditching FREDS, but the more my scout enthuses about a player, the less likely I am to let him go - regardless of how little talent he's displaying. So my squad tends to grow and grow. ~220 in my doomed save.

I'm about to count mine now?

GK's. 12.
DR/L/C's. 20.
DC's. 13.
WBR/L's. 8. (eh! I never play with wing-backs!)
DM/MC's. 13.
AMR/L/C's. 18.
ST's. 16.

That makes 100(ish) doesn't it.

Time for a cull methinks .
