Default Exporting an animation file with an alpha channel

HI
I've made an animation file in PS CS2. I need it to have an alpha channel, or just be transparent when I import it into my video editing program Final Cut Pro.

How do I do this in PS and how do I export it?

The file is a Lower Third - which will have titles written on it.

Thanks in advance.

When you save as a .gif make sure the Transparency box is checked, and of course, remove the background from your animation.
