After 8 months of not being able to play FM i'v decided to start a LLM save, with Yeading as my friend plays for their U18's.

When i took over i thought the team would be strong enough to avoid relegation, and the board & fans seemed to agree. I brought in a new DMC for free to help cover my midfield, got rid of 2 useless ST's and sold 1 decent DC for 3k.
Season started well enough, I made the new DMC my captain as he won 4 MOM's in first 6 matches. Thanks to my excellent defensive players and coverage from the midfield my i went the first 7 games without conceding, however I only scored 8 in those 7 games. Despite being water-tight at the back my strikers were starting to plunge me down the table. In early January one of my strikers got injured, which led me to slip from 7th to 15th within 5 games. In the last 4 games i started to challenge for a play-off spot thanks to my AMC scoring 7 in 10 games, bu it wasn't enough and i finished 9th. Which i suppose is fairly good. Pos 9th

Got rid of ALL of my strikers from previous season, and then some more deadwood, giving me a huge wage budget of.... 25k.:cool: Only managed to get in 2 new Strikers leaving me worryingly thin in attack again, however got in two fantastic wingers. Season started similarly, attack wouldn't gel so goals were scarce, however due to my godly defense i played out about 8 0-0 draws throughout the first half season which was amazingly boring. In January i signed a young welsh Striker thanks to injuries, he only set me back 2k, but i desperately needed some goals, i was closing in on the play-offs. He played 20 games for me, and scored 23goals :eek:, absolutely shocking, against Bishops Storford he scored 4 goals in a 6-0 troucing. Last match and i was 1st on goal difference to Carshalton. I was playing Thurrock, it was 1-0 to me at 1/2 time and a stunning second half display from my Captain DMC, which saw him score a goal, and generally run the game. 2-0 the final score and up i went into the Conference National.

My team was very small now, and with the new promotion my finances were looking great we had 60k, 17k i could spend. I signed 1 new ST and a star DL. Conf Nat was harder, my defence still held tight and i was conceding on avg 0.3 a game. My welsh ST was top scorer in the league however this meant he attracted the likes of West Brom and Southhampton. In january i sold my Welsh ST for £1M :eek:, and my captain DMC for £550K, i didn't make any big signings just bought in replacements, who didn't fill the shoes well enough. Before Jan i was 15th with a realistic shot at the play-offs, after i sold them i went on an 8 game loss streak, where i conceded 20 goals. I was relegated with two games to go, without my DMC my defence fell apart and then my team self destructed. Ah well i have £1.9M in the bank . Coming back up shouldn't be too hard. Pos 21st
