| TBH, I reckon I put the groundwork in for Lancaster to be relegated second season, so I'm going to claim two relegations.

I have a question about the Scottish league system though, specifically relegation. Bottom place gets relegated automatically, and it says the team finishing ninth qualifies for a relegation semi-final. Who exactly do they play?

That's right. 9th goes in the mix with 2nd, 3rd and 4th from the division below for the right to play in the higher of the two divisions next season.

I checked rules which is what confused me, as all it said was "9th place qualifies for relegation playoff". It didn't occur to me that there were only three promotion playoff sots in each division, but that makes sense now.

Ah well, probably a good thing as I was almost in tears of frustration anyway. Might try somewhere warmer in South America.
