Exactly. There must be some kind of in-game flag that can be set on your team the day you get promoted/relegated that AI players can "look at" and say "oh they'll be in league x next season". Much like real life players would get from a browse in the paper or a search online.

Maybe you could do that yourself in the editor, you seem to be quite expert on it.

What resolution are you running at? I have my wife's older pc @ 800 x 600 and everything looks fine.
