Currently playing on 7.0.2, but having a torrid time of it, generally through bizarre errors, incompetence and the like. Have tried a number of different teams, tactics etc, but the core of the match engine still seems to be the same for me, and is rapidly ruining a lot of enjoyment.

Basically I'm considering going back to the first patch or even playing unpatched - just wondering what most of you guys play on, and how you find it?

What errors are you encountering with 7.0.2? I have been playing it ever since it came out, and haven't found any showstoppers at all. In fact, I'd say it's the best version so far.

Just the usual stuff - giving the ball away cheaply, marking problems, backpasses, defenders unable to stay goalside etc. The usual errors you get in FM, which I have no problem with, just ever since I installed the second patch they've seemed to become a lot more frequent than normal.

Not a whinging thread as I am just playing through them, but wondering what patch others use, if any.

7.02 is the best but didn't affect the ME.

You should probably look in the forum which deals with tactical advice and the like, although if you have the patience to play through your troubles as you seem to you might well find a home here

Have a read through the forum rules and headers and see what you think.

Beware though, we don't do advice, only empathy

Haha, don't see the point of going into that forum - the whole point of management is to develop and hone your own tactics.

I'm persisting, just wondered how many people play the second patch as opposed to others.

I found the earlier versions to give me plenty of injured players. I didn't see an effect to my tactics, in fact, I've probably been more successful since 7.02.

7.0.2 made player stats affect players more. Crap players appear now crappier. In LLM, it's more likely that you'll encounter crap players.

If you don't want to see crap players behave like what they are, maybe LLM isn't for you after all.

What your talking about is the general inability of LL players, I'm afraid you'll just have to get used to dealing with some inept, incompetent & just plain stupid footballers.
