i'm not new to LLM, i have been following the progress of many of the LLM games played by you guys with great curiosity. I'm starting in finland with JIPPO Joensuu. I also have the Bulgarian, Indian, Welsh, Peruvian, Greek and Icelandic leagues loaded.
Here's how my first 3 seasons have developed;
2006 Ykkonen
Media Prediction: 9th
Transfers In: 4 (£0)
Transfers Out: 0
A few additions to a poor-ish squad saw us rise to the heights of 4th, but a handful of
injuries and a suspension thrown into the melee saw us drop to the predicted 9th. Inconsistancy
was a formidable tale as i strung about 3 wins together with my formation, which i thought
worked well but my strikers are not very prolific.
Finished: 9th
P26 W11 D3 L12 F35 A33 GD+2 Pts 36
Top Goalscorer: Ox Like Finnish Striker: 14
Player of the Year: Left-sided Finnish young-gun: 26games @ 7.19
2007 Ykkonen
Media Prediction: 8th
Transfers In: 1 (1k)
Transfers Out: 3 (2k)
With such a poor club reputation i was only able to bring in one playing of the same or better
calibre as those i already have. This year was much poorer than last season, we never made a start,
never got any better and finished poorly. A change of tactics mid season helped pick up a few wins
against the poorer league sides.
Finished: 9th
P26 W11 D5 L10 F33 A28 GD+5 Pts 38
Top Goalscorer: Young Finnish Bean Pole Striker: 9
Player of the Year: a little bit older, a little bit wiser Left-sided Finnish Young-gun: 19games @ 7.00
2008 Ykkonen (and England U21 manager)
Media Prediction: 8th
Transfers In: 5 (14k)
Transfers Out: 9 (0)
After removing some dead wood from the reserves and a couple first team players who didn't want to renew
their contracts i sort about finding some good first team players. I broadened my international squad status
with the addition of an American, a Brazilian along with 2 potentially good finnish youngens.
With the promotion of the well known finnish youngster to the first he was the pick of my strikers. A good
first 3 quarters to the season saw us never leave the top 2, with a spell of dominance at the top of the table
i ended the season a below par 3rd with 4 losses from the last 5 games, a win in the last game agianst Atlantis
FC would have made us champions.
Finsished: 3rd

Top Scorer: Very Young Awesome Striker: 14 (from 16games)

England offered me both the full england job and the U21 job. I accepted the U21 job. I managed them to Euro U21
qualification for 2009. Not lost yet; record so far P6 W4 D2 L0
How realistic is it for a new manager, who has managed just three seasons, and hasn't even won a promotion in a small footballing nation like Finland, to take over the U21 side in England?
And where are you finding these players based out of the western hemisphere?
My guess is that your history in GPG has something to do with that.
Talk of third party updates in a challenge thread too not too long ago.
One to watch I think to see how he adapts to LLM or if he strays from the straight and narrow.
Rather strange choice of leagues in his game too... all over the place.
