Yeah they blitzed the Championship, winning it with a very lean and efficient squad. They were about 20 points clear of second.

Just a quick note to say I've resigned from the NZ job. At first it was a fun distraction but now its just a distraction. I want to give my full attention back to my (not so) mighty Spartans. I was pretty happy with the World Cup results though, never played the World Cup before.

That update was high on joy, short on details.
In reality the season started poorly until the midway point when an amazing run of form catapulted us into the promotion/playoff places.

Job Offer Update
After never even being linked to any other jobs a whole barrelful of offers and media reports appeared in the inbox.
These included being linked to: Three Polish second division clubs, one Russian first division club and League 2 side Doncaster.
Actual offers were: Llanelli AFC and Spartak Moscow.
It's nice to be wanted.

Actually, add Dundee and Motherwell to that list. I was quite tempted by those two, having fond memories of the Scottish Leagues in my first ever FM save.
