Cheeky two question post.

Firstly how long after launch is Frank's travel service generally up & running?

Secondly do people wait for the first patch before starting a long term save or do the inevitable bugs add to the character of the game?

I think some use the random team option at the start for a season, check out new features and stuff.

Not really sure. Wasn't here at the begining of '07.

Frank takes as long as Adam needs to teach hime the changes.

Usually the 1st patch is around the time of release, so I wait and have a quick game to get used to the new feel in the interim.

The inevitable bugs, are inevitable, ignore them.

Other bugs, are the result of peoples total incomprension of what really happens in football or their belief that ManUre managed by them, should be unbeatable.

The real bugs (oh God, just once let us find them all) will be fixed when they're fixed.

A patch isn't inevitable (hollow laugh)

The need for patches is getting better, I seem to remember that earlier versions needed something like 5 or 6 patches before everything was sorted.

I wait for no Llama, as I'm usually keen to <STRIKE>lose heavily and get sacked</STRIKE> start out my career with a lowly conference north/south team.

I'll usually pick one at random, do the dafuge challenge (go on holiday for a year then pick one of the newly promoted teams) or find a team that I can identify with and <STRIKE>get sacked by Christmas</STRIKE> enjoy my new game!

In 2007 I fired up a save in Spain prior to the first patch, in an attempt to spot as many of the glaring errors that would make Jordi turn to :jordi:.

Sadly as I was already half :jordi: I didn't remember any of them!

I start a game and go with it until there's a patch out. I install the patch, start a new game and go with it until there's a next patch or a next version out. Repeat ad nauseam
