It's all down to the fact we want to play our own game & succeed or fail all by ourselves.

Any tipping or advice would detract from the pleasure that is gained when a promotion is secured or a cup is won.

Most none LLM players would consider the people in this forum akin to sadist's however the years of mediocrity makes any success all the sweeter.

The rules are not strict. They just seem to be strict because most other places are chaotic and full of people behaving like monkeys.

We want to attract people who are able to respect each other. An important part of respect is to type in proper English, so that others can understand what you're trying to say, and to behave according to a common ruleset.

A community can't work if everyone is doing what they want. A basic set of rules and guidelines in the beginning is better than having constant flame wars and banning of people afterwards.
