Thanks. I've decided my Chairman is delusional. First he turned us pro the second we were promoted from the Conference South, despite the fact we were not financially prepared for it and were at risk to go straight back down. Now, the second that I stave off relegation from League 2 for one season, he suddenly announces a couple of weeks later that he is giving me a transfer budget of £350k. This happens well before the normal budget declaration (literally immediately after the season ends) and despite the fact that we are around £200k in the red with little hope of getting out unless we sell players. Largest transfer budget before now, on the rare occasion that I've had one, has been £15k. The guy is a nutter! Not keen on bankruptcy so limiting my spending.

By any chance did your chairman go to the school of economics as the former Leeds & current Cardiff supremo.

Nice to see he hasn't learnt his lesson about signing over-paid players who put in as little effort as possible. (fat Eddie Murphy being evidence for the prosecution)
