Default Bigpants resigns all over the world! The shipjumping pooflander save

Ok, about time to get back in the update market.

Save information
FM07 V 7.0.2
Leagues:
South Africa, China, Austria, England, France, Germany, Italy, Holland, Portugal, Russia, Scotland, Spain, Argentina and Brazil.

Manager:
Zippy McDuff (English/Dutch)

Frank in his wisdom gave me Tigre in the Argentine second division

Tigre Argentine 2nd Div
Spent 3 seasons here, well it may have been 3 seasons but understanding the dodgy league structure meant I’m still not sure. Was predicted high mid table and 1st season we did ok finishing 9th a few free signings and a couple of good loans the way to go.

2nd and 3rd seasons showed what you can do with little money and no talent as we dropped to 16th and 13th those seasons.

By Christmas 2008 I was loosing the board and fans confidence I started to look for another job, with no success. Always being one to jump ship (I’m not a proud man) I quit . One month later was offered the Chacarita job .

Chacarita Juniors Argentine 2nd div
Felt I should leave this chapter out of the story, but hey we are defined not only by our greatness but also or humility.

After aquaplaning for 3 months to board let me know I was in trouble and not waiting to get sacked I told the press I wanted to spend more time with the family and cleared my desk .

Xinjiang Ticai Chinese Nat. 1st Div
A week after quitting was offered the job at relegation hopefuls Xinjiang. With no time to bring in new players we work with what we had and defended and countered and stopped the rot drawing my first 3 games in charge.

But wins were needed and wins we couldn’t find so having flirted with 15th dropped again to bottom and were relegated. New job time .

Elche C.F., S.A.D. LIGA BBVA (seasons 08/09, 09/10, 10/11)
Offered a job my reputation didn’t really match I was asked to rebuild and stabilise the finances. Stabilise my arse the hover dam could not have plugged the leak in our bank account. £400k a month  was leaving the account with out my permission, a legacy of 1st division football. Players on 15-20K a week contracts were keeping us in the promotion hunt but would not take pay cuts and we’re not wanted by others .

A few good buys saw us challenge strongly just missing out on promotion the first 2 seasons. Aging players and high wages continued to cripple us and the board accepted offers for our best players to help out and 4.5mill for our best midfielder cleared the debt. But loosing our best defender to Juventus for free didn’t help the on pitch performances .

2 top six finishes in my first 2 seasons gave me the reputation as a talented manager and the offer of the England job (which I took). But with the board selling players and still leaking £300-500K a month Elche were sitting 19th half way through the season. Time to go I feel, so again jumping before being pushed I quit , and waited for my next job...

Double post sorry...

England 2010- onwards

Took over and was expected to qualify with ease for Euro 2012. Winning all but our last game in a group that saw Switzerland as our main rival was good for moral . Setting us up for the 2011 Confederations cup. Finished top of our group but then went to pot in the knock out stage loosing 2-0 to France, and then 1-1 to Italy in the 3rd place playoff :thdn:.

Revenge is sweet; Euro 2012, top of our group again with a draw against Holland and 2 wins saw us through. A 2-1 win over Turkey and 1-0 win over France saw us meet Italy in the final. 1-1 at full time goals in the 95 and 116 minute by a rising star and old faithful seal a 3-1 win .

Carlisle English Div 2 10/11
Took over in February with Carlisle sitting in 3rd looking good to go straight back up after relegation. Finished the season 2nd behind everyone’s favourite MK Dons :o. And with board and fans happy we look forward to Div 1 by selling a rising star for big money to fund the rebuilding of the whole squad .

Carlisle Eng Div 1 11/12
Brought 3 players in key positions DL MC and FC with a view to adding to them in the 2nd window. Was happy to be 21st in January , and having sent scouts to Scotland had a couple of young Scots on their way. Another FC and a GK was joined by a French DC. The new players saw us climb to a safe 15th though board by the end of the season seemed to want more. Making profit and getting highest average crowds saw the board improve training ground and offer a fair transfer budget for next season .

Can't beat a good old spit roast outdoors on a nice Sunday afternoon.

I'm an old timer and I’ve only just started the thread and your calling for the BBQ already!

Oh and to be honest a spit roast is better than a double post any day , so I'm told
