I'm new to LLM but I would like to try it. Now I understand all the rules except I have a question.

Are we able to look at the transfer list as I am sure there is a website where that information is posted and scout players we are interested in. We can't look at the players attributes just age, where they play before we scout them.

Are we also allowed to look at clubs in our area, to once again scout there reserve side for loan signings etc. I think most coaches would have an idea about clubs in there area and there playing staff

The main part of LLM is realism..."as realistic as the game allows".

After long and protracted discussions, lasting a couple of years, it was generally accepted that players would be found by scouts.

Obvious exceptions would be players mentioned in the media (which would be scouted), players offered by another team (which would be scouted), and players who did well against your team (which would, again, be scouted).

These are guidelines happily adopted by the zealots.

Still LLM, but frowned on so hard by the zealots that their buttocks sometimes are pulled halfway up their backs, is the transfer screen.

Bottom (sic) line is that it's not anti-LLM to use the transfer screen with scouting assistance (always scouts) but it's looked upon as the easy way out and that's not how LLM's meant to be.

Scout being the key word, but it also depends on who the local teams are. I can't imagine a manure reserve going on loan to Droylsden for example.

When considering realism, I don't know of any player who has gone on loan to a Conference club from a Premiership club.

League 2 certainly, but if it's happened in Conference National/North/South, then I missed it.

I have always started with a conference or lower team but I have always used player / staff search in the past & ended up finding the game too easy.

I will deffinatly be playing the game the LLaMa way when FM08 comes out as it sounds like it will make the game much more enjoyable.
