I always thought "correct" was something that could be partial, but "true" was something that is not malleable.

There might be degrees of right and wrong, there are no degrees of correct.

Equate correct and incorrect with dead and alive and you won't go wrong.

I wasn't really having a go at how your post was written; more the fact that you have the temerity to criticise the English of someone for who it is not a first language when your illiteracy is spread across a number of threads.

In a maths problem you could have parts that are correct and parts that are not, same as a logical structure.

To me "correct" can be both, but I'm a philosopher so language is all pretty strange to me.
