when i start a new game ienter my name then the game goes to the initialise scren and then freezes half way down and wont do anything else can anyone help

hmm. Then it's not likely to be a problem with that. It's either a problem with the game or if you dropped your psp or spilled something on it.

haven't done either of those.
previously i had ben playing for 8 seasons, then finished and wanted to start again but it then wouldn't initialise

have you put any changes in your changes file?
Mine has done that before and i had to delete everything and start again, try your preferences first or it could be your changes file.

What things did you have to delete do you mean save game cause this happened with my brother when he used the editor and i am really annoyed now that it isn't working.

i deleted all the game that it was crashing on and it worked fine o you could try deleting your preferences. Just make sure you keep a copy of your changes file so you dont have to start all over again.

Nope it still isn't working maybe it is because he tried to make too much changes because i just changed a few things and it worked but he made a whole new team and it doesn't work.

If you've edited the team data then please ensure that you leave the competitions in a stable state as if you leave a league with too few teams in it this can cause the game to fail on startup.

(for next version I'm going to improve the error checking so it unrolls any unstable changes it finds - which will obviously be a little 'nicer')
