Personally Im of the opinion that the sooner consoles become as functional as pc's then the better
Im buying FM2006 on the 360 simply because the processing power is so kick ass that it blows the socks off my PC, and thus the all important game speed will be excellent. (oh and I have an internet addicted girlfirend, so more FM time for me this way)
now to my question, The 360 can support most USB mice and keyboards, will FM2006 have mouse support, because I really prefer it to using a controller.
Good question. A wireless USB mouse would work pretty well. I'm looking forward to the 360 version as opposed to the PC version simply to play on a 50" HD display while in a big recliner.
Better than hunched over a keyboard.
You can still kind of use the game using a mouse but it has been designed to be used with the controller. There aren't menus to click on like in the PC version as those are popped up using buttons on the controller.
Whilst I'm perfectly happy using the controller, maybe for later versions a second skin could be created that allows mouse users to click on buttons like in the PC version?
It probably still wouldn't work as the reduced screen size has meant that we've had to remove the menus and sections. It could probably work in HD mode but it's doubtful for normal mode.
I was thinking about HD to be honest Ter as I play my 360 through a PC TFT. On a standard TV having the traditional menus probably would be a mess. I was playing the final Xbox game that SI made (where you call up the menu bar and move the pointer in a mouse like fashion in order to access certain screens) and whilst it was OK it does seem a bit messy looking back on it now.
