April 2006 will see Sports Interactive's critically acclaimed Football Manager™ series make its debut on both the Xbox 360 and Sony PSP games consoles, to be published by long term partner, Sega.

The new PSP screens look worse

The fresh vibrant style of the old screenshots have gone, replaced with the dark dull style of the PC version

It's actually the Xbox screens I'm still not sure about, in a lot of them it seems to not be making the most of screen space (league table for example, the table squashed up on the right, and the squad view where the text could be at least 25% bigger and still fit comfortably on the screen)
those two shots you mention look to be the high def versions.

Now rather than your monitor - imagine those on a high def TV (most of which are 22" plus). I think bigger text would look far to big.

Plus remember that the team name and player name columns are the ones that need to be the biggest in case you get really long names.

I think it looks good. Might be worth seeing how good they're on the screen via Media connect.

Will each, either 360 or psp version be skinnable, editor of anykind, be able to recieve updates or anything

any news on a demo, i asked this before but i got the legal thing about sony back,

and it isnt very clear, is the release date in april?

It's April the 11th, I assume that since this is the first solid date given out by SI Games it is subject to change.
