Well, I was gonna say that if you qualified for the Champions League you would get around £20m in TV revenue....
But since your a bit far away from the Champions League I have to say that I have no idea
Sorry!
Cup runs are very useful in the lower leagues, yes, but they can be quite hard to come by.
Your best hope is for things to improve on the field and then attendances go up. Look at bringing in some higher league loanees as they seem to be the way out of the lower leagues. If you can get promotion then better players will come to you. Bigger clubs will start sniffing around your better players and hopefully you'll get some big bids in.
Try arranging friendlies for your under 18s with Premiership u18 clubs, and with Barcelona C, Sevilla C, etcetera. That's what I did managing Redditch (who I'm sure you've played many a time unless they got relegated first season) and I got about 4000 in a 4500 stadium and made plenty of money.
What drives me crazy is that my board keeps telling me that we are in trouble and it's my job to do something about it. The problem is they tell me this during March and April when I can't sell players or change which players are registered to play! (I'm playing Benidorm in the Spanish Second Division.) I have used the advice and arranged some friendlies using my u-19 team with Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Valencia's younger squads to raise some money, but it's not enough. What else are you supposed to do?
