After three consecutive promotions with FGR in 3 years (I'd like to thank my back room staff, my parents etc etc), I currently sit 23rd in the Championship and anticipate a long season of spankings ahead - was nowhere near being able to attract the quality of player necessary in the summer.
Does anyone know how managerial reputation is affected by this sort of thing? IRL even if i went down I would like to think I'd be hailed as a mangerial god but would this hit my rep hard in game? Am I best off resigning (in my head, for personal reasons) and waiting for a good job to come along in terms of my in game reputation?
Or is even entertaining such thoughts disloyal to the people of Nailsworth who I've taken on such a roller coaster ride?
Might not be the same thing but I had a national reputation and was linked with SPL jobs after getting Dumbarton promoted from the third to first division.
Two promotions should give you a national reputation, at least it did in Scotland. And that gives you the key to any 'national' jobs. In England that would suggest Championship jobs.
