Just wanted to open this thread to get some insight into the game from other people that play as Fulham. I attempted a couple of games with Fulham, and I found that I needed to improve every area of the pitch, so I tried buying a top striker (Soren Larsen) in one game, two top midfielders (Alex & Luka Modric) in another, but I found that the best form of offence truly is a good defence.
I shipped out Bocanegra, Christanval, Konchesky & Baird, and brought in Ignashevich for free, Roque Junior for free, Igor Tudor for £1.1million, Samba for £1.5million, and Stephen Warnock for £2.8million. I only had £1million left to spend, and I ended up selling Seol for £2.5million, and buying van der Meyde for £3.5million. The point is, I'm normally struggling around 14th, but with this new defence, I'm in and around the halfway point in the table most of the time after 15 games, and we keep a lot more clean sheets - my top scorer after 18 games (in all competitions) is Collins John with 7 goals, so need some firepower up there... but that's what free transfers are for!!
P.S. Get Harry Kewell on loan!! SERIOUSLY.
