Database location?

I posted this in the editors forum but haven't had any help at all. As people in here are helpful I thought I'd try again.

I was trying to play fm on my laptop last night. As I edited the db first I copied the new db to my laptop.

When I loaded the game it said the db the game was created with couldn't be found & the game was using the default db.

Can anybody please help?

Are both games patched to the same level. I.e with what patch did you create the database originally? And is this the same patch being used on your laptop game?

Yea both computers have the 8.0.1 patch running.

Does anybody know what folder I need to put the db in?

Is it in program files or my docs?

Now that I do know the answer to. The database goes in My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2008/db.
