i have had no problems, i moaned a bit before, and as i havnt been on here since the patch came out, simply because it is great, thanxs si, u mite not see me agen for a whil, back to season 2017
I have to say I never moan, yeah right! I think the patch has done a great job, the only problem I have is my tactics don't seem to be working as weell as they used to but thats done to me having to figure out the winning tactics again!
The patch is great for anyone who wants to play a game.
People who want a perfect representation of real life football will hate it. But then again, they'll not find a game to their liking anywhere, and will dislike any game they try to play.
Nothing's "great" about scoring 10% of 1-on-1's. Nothing's really bad about it, either. It's a game, not Real Life. Accept it as a poor imitiation, and it really does become fun.
so what about training side of it and over achiving getting sacked do you not all think this is problem with those 2 problems along cant get long term game going

I've over-achieved and not gotten sacked. Not experienced that, so I have no problems with it.
Apparently, my training works well, too, since I have produced three Prem-quality players in my lower-league youth system.
If I can do it, so can you. By playing the game, not playing the real life.
would that still be true if every game was ending 10-9?
different people expect different levels of realism. i personally find that only a small fraction of one on ones being scored by player and ai teams alike ruins the suspense of a match
I'm not going to start pointing fingers about tactics etc but I havn't had much problems with the shot ratio's. My tactics since the patch are less effective but I will work that out with a bit of practise!
My training seems to be working, not really that big into that part, I use one of the training schedule from the forums.
I do believe that having to release 3 patches in the first month of a game being released really shows there is some problems/pressures on release dates.
Overall I am surprised how little the game has changed in the past 2 or 3 years. There is by far not enough new proper features.

fwiw, they only released one patch. There were two beta versions of that patch released...SI expected there would be problems with them, they weren't done nor ready for general release, and SI asked for our help identifying issues we encountered.
And if every score were 10-9, it could still be an enjoyable game, it just wouldn't be as near a representation of football as it is. Maybe the MISL, but not football proper.
The closer the ME gets to reality, the better, IMO. But to expect perfection, or even anything close to it, is asking too much. It's never been achieved, it never will be, and to expect it is to set one's self up for disappointment, and SI for failure.
Expect flaws, accept them when they happen, even embrace them, and enjoy the game. Because it is playable, and it can be fun, if you let it.
