I'm managing Randaberg Il (who where previously unplayable) and I'm in my third season currently. We couldn't escape from the Second Division group 3 in our first season. However our second season went much better and we managed to finish second to Start 2, which meant promotion to the First Division. We are now 3 games into our third season now and we've lost our first 3 games!

I have played both Harstad and Byåsen and with Harstad it got promoted in my second season to the Adecco league and with Byåsen I got promoted the first season.

I am however thinking of quiting the Norwegian leagues because a big BUG keeps hunting me!!!

Both my games have been destroyed by board decisions to expand the stadium - first with Harstad. My avarage was after the second season in the 2. division around 1000/1200 spectators (the capacity was 6000 with 500 seats) and then, after I won the promotion, the board decided to install more seats in the stadium (from 500 to 3000 within the 6000 max) leaving me with no money thus I couldn't buy any players or do anything! (the club didn't have any (opposite Randaberg) when I got there so the board spend all the money I had earned and then some on expanding the seat capacity - leaving me with a €300K deficit)

My experiences with Byåsen however are more laughable, because (got promoted last night) with Byåsen my avarage was 340 and the capacity was 3000 (no seats). Leaving the first season with Byåsen I had a €15k deficit though the board decided to expand the stadium by 3000 seats with a total cost of €6.660.000 - and the club didn't have the money!!!

For the SECOND time the board messed by game up totally. I decided to keep going (after the Harstad board made their decision I resigned immediately) and now 2 months into the new season the board blaims ME FOR THE HUGE DEFICIT!!! I didn't do nothing - I'm just a freaking manager!!!

This must be a BUG (!!!) because it is totally unrealistic!!! The Byåsen board didn't even take up a loan - it just spend €6 mill. the club didn't have!!! This must be a bug because no way IRL will any board in the world make such decisions!!! Well maybe in a third-world country but this is Norway god damn it!!!

SI - please take a look at this... Something is wrong and if not please explain to me what I'm during wrong (besides having bought and played this game)... please...?

sunn03 I have had very similar experience with my Randaberg game. Randaberg aren't aswell off financially as you might think. When I took charge of them they had if I remember correctly, 700k in the bank. They didn't let me have any transfer funds the first season, then the second season they gave me 20k to spend in the transfer market.

Anyway back to stadium expansions... And after our promotion to the Adecco, the Board announced a planned expansion of 3,000 seats to be added to our current £3,000 seats. The cost of this £4.5 million! The Board has plowed just over half of this back via 'cash injections' taking place over a couple of months after their announcement. Anyway this still leaves us with a club debt of £1.2 Million and the cash injections have stopped.

It's not easy when these sort of things happen, but I do like the added difficulty of it all. Just add aswell I'm going to be in one hell of a relegation scrap this season too!
