Does this happen to anyone else, You scrimp and save and then sign a player who is WAY better than anyone else in your team.

First game they play they get crocked.
And its never just for a week! its always 3 months +!

yeah bought van der vaart for £11.5 million and after playing about 5 games he got injured for 5 months!!! lucky i had kieron dyer though

I just pop out FMM when this happens.
Don't have much patience for FM-style 'randomness'.

FM08 appears better than FM07 for this aspect, as well as injury crisis in certain positions.

I signed Van Der Vaart and he got an injury in his first game for me that put him out for 3 weeks. He must be jinxed lol.

happend to me as i play as liverpol i sign gareth barrys for the lm position. first game he played he is out for 6 months. and the last 8 games of the season when i need to win for the title as i was on top at the time. i got hit by an injury crisis hitting, torres, gerrard, kuyt carragher, and alonso out for the last 8 game =[ bug or just badluck?
