Well, to be more accurate you can go as long as you have memory to play, I presume there probably is a thrshold season (different for each PC) where the game becomes unplayable, too slow or whatever,

Surely you're manager will die at some point? haha never thought about that. They would have to though, would be good to know if that does happen?

The manager doesn't die. For me the game ends when I don't see myself enjoying the game anymore, and that's usually after about 20 seasons give or take, since it's all regens and I really don't know who the players are.

If you want a manager to die just retire him, create a new one and takeover you old club. Do that when you believe your guy is too old to manage full time.

They should change that. So you are forced to retire through illness. If you have been succesful the club could arrange a send off charity match for you.
