I usually cant be arsed with post match team talks and leave them to my assistant.
However since the patch three times out of four games that I win he always comes up with "Why cant you play like this every week?" which I then have to change. Even after scraping a 1 - 0 victory against Nottingham Forest who are a league lower he still gave the "Why cant you play like this every week?" speech.
Never used it myself. The reason being that one size doesn't fit all in this game. A guy who ends the game with a six rating needs his arse kicked, while someone with a 9 needs serious praise.
Also, I think it's unrealistic to have your assman talk to players after the game and while you bugger off home.
I leave my assistant to do my team talks too, but I usually have to change them anyway, "why can't you play like this every week?" being one of them. He always wants to give that team talk when i win, and even if I've won the 3 matches before it. My team DO play like that every week!

Team talks are so boring and arbitry, there is no point in them and they are just so boring after half a season.

I talk to each player individually. I guess most users don't bother, you just wanna get to the next game as quickly as possible. Well thats fair enough.
