Default Top down view

Was talking to my m8 the other day and he said he had given CM08 a try and really liked the angled view when watching the game like the top down view for FM08 and preferred the angled view. He said by no means CM08 is perfect but neither is FM08, if SI could introduce this into their game it would be great. With this in the game you would be able to judged the height of the ball and the height of the players and whether shots on goal where going over the bar or going in the net. Anyone else tried CM08?

CM08. Had no idea it had angled viewing. It's common knowledge that CM is no longer worthy it's own name.

Did any of you guys understand the question? What im trying to say in good old plain english is, Would FM benfit from an angled view of the game and not just a top down view therefore we would be able to tell the height of the ball and also challenges for headers between players....im not saying i love CM08 or anything like that all im asking is about the angled view being implemented in the forthcoming FM's and what you guys thought of the idea...To many fanboys on this site.

Now theres a decent answer for a change...would you like it to happen in the FM series..would SI get it
to play right? never tried CM08 for myself so i might just give it a try and have a look at the angled view.

I would quite like to see it. It wouldn't be difficult to implement, as it would be the same 2d engine but from a pseudo-3d perspective.

You could replace the blobs with little subbuteo players and everything would look clearer and prettier.

However, SI might have too much pride to copy an idea from the CM guys . . .
