Hi guys and gals,

I was wondering why in the commentary, when a defender works his socks off, or a midfielder does some great tidy up work, why isn't this reflected in FM 08. Let me clarify what I mean, the opponents striker goes through one on one, and your centre back pulls off some good defensive work to pressure the striker to fire wide, ie (in the commentary):

"John Terry tracked back very well there, forcing Ronaldo into rushing his shot"

The defending teams players get no recognition for good work in the commentary. So when the opponents striker puts a shot over the bar, the defender should get a mention etc. I believe it would give you a good indication on how the defence/midfield etc are tracking back, and working for the benefit of the team.

Just a little thing I think would make the game and the commentary that little bit better.

Yeah, I agree, the commentators always seem ready to criticise as well.

E.g. Didier Drogba will be feeling relieved, his bag pass nearly cost his team a goal.
