One thing I rally would like to see the match engine be able to produce are the monstrous thrashings you sometimes see in real life.

Like Australia's 31-0 whopping of American Samoa. Or the current World Cup Qualifiers, which have produced Fiji 16-0 Tuvalu, and Vanuatu 15-0 American Samoa.

It tends to be the lower levels that produce these kind of scorelines, as there isn't, in reality, much of a difference in ability between top-level teams.

What's the biggest scoreline that you've seen in your FM game?

I beat a lowly German team 18-0 as Bayern Munich, however, that team was playing their reserve goalkeeper in midfield. They subbed their uninjured midfielder for the keeper, despite have other outfield players on the bench!

That's the kind of thing I mean. In Real, Brazil-St Martin would end about 25-0.
