Hopefully someone will come up with a solution, FM07 was brought out before vista, so although it works there will still be some glitches, wont be long untill FM08 is out.

Guys may I mention the obvious?

I have Vista Enterprise and installed FM2007 and then transferred from my old PC all my graphics and yes they di not work.

Then I just changed skin, too skin cache off and reloaded skin option on in preferences and then changed back to my preferred skin and all my graphics worked.

Have you tried this?

You might mention it, but then I might mention that I've tried that just now, and it does not work.

I've even tried emptying the graphics cache by the method specified by SI (creating a file named "clear." in the appropriate folder, but that doesn't seem to work. Seems to me that the cache might be copy protected or some stupid Vista ****.

Does anyone know how to manually clear the graphics cache?

It is a long term solution as you will not have to do that again unless you add more pictures ot switch off cache permanently.

Have you tried switching off UAC in Vista? Then delete manually your cache? Then try my suggestion above as it dose work.

I assume you are an administrator of your Vista installation?

I have turned UAC off, that was the very first thing I did I. I am the administrator, yes. I tried deleting the cache manually as I said by creating a file called "clear.txt" in the appropriate folder (CUsers\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\skins). That didn't work. The cache is still intact.

Is there a manual way to delete the cache that doesn't involve creating the stupid file? Editing some registry values or something? :p

I mistyped the folder location, the file is of course in the "cache" folder, not the skins folder as I wrote.

I even tried uninstalling the game and installing it again, that did absolutely nothing at all. No difference.

So.. Could someone please give me instructions on how to clear the cache? I don't mean by the "clear.txt" way, as it doesn't work!

I guess I'll have to survive without my new graphics.
