I just used the data editor to make some changes in accordance to the transfer market this summer. After transferring a couple of players, I decided to move the three teams that got relegated down to the championship. Then I went into FM after saving the file and loading the database, I wasn't able to choose England as a playable or viewable nation.

Then I thought maybe it wasn't working because now there were too many teams in the championship now that I had moved the premiership ones down. I moved the newly promoted championship teams up, saved and loaded database. I was still not able to select England. What's the problem?

Do I have to move all the teams that were relegated and promoted to their rightful leagues or what?

The easiest way to do it:

Instead of editing the league in the Teams, go and search for league 1, then click wichever team you want, and you then get a highlighted "Swap" icon lighted up at the bottom. then find the team you want to swap it with.

I've just done exactly the same thing and had the same result!

same here

i added a team to conference north and now when i go to start a new game with that data base all of england is not selectable
