Any idea why? I've had a search around the forums but no luck. Also I simply swapped teams (I'm using Iceland btw) so the number of teams in the league remains the same

I meant I'm swapping teams from the Icelandic league with others.

Make sure you are replacing the Icelandic teams with the ones you are not using. Also keep in mind that if you swap teams with teams in different leagues, that may crash the game. Remember the editor has a history data, so maybe you should not load the history to make your game happen. Get back to me if you have more questions mate.

Don't use Iceland to replace, because it won't show up. use any other league

same thing happened just now with Finland. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I just can't figure it out as all I'm doing is a simple swap

You mean delete the history for each competition? or replace the teams from the history (eg last league winner) with a newly swapped-in team?

I would delete the League's history to avoid crashing the game, or edit the League's history (by this I mean past winners) in order to maintain its coherence. Otherwise your game will probably not load. I hope it helps.

Does anyone know the answer to this? The Icelandic league is attractive because it has fewest league games in a season. I too am trying to swap teams but it just isn't working.

Any ideas?

p.s. I have tried deleting all histories but this does not work.

Well, I have tried to change Icelandic league with others, but always the game has crashed or not displayed the league at begining.

In Slovenian and Indian league, I had similar problems. Finally, I kept some slovenian or indian teams at lower divisions and the game works fine, but merging the teams of the leagues in cup competitions. You can try this system.
