It's come to my attention recently that the game doesn't allow you to manage some international teams, eg. Somalia.
Using the editor is there any way of making sure you are allowed to play as these teams?

Make enough Somalian players, to ensure this happens. Make at least 100 so that you have a good crop of players.

Surely there's a simpler way, but thanks for the help anyway. I'll give it a go.

You could also use the "load nation players" option when starting a new game, to load all the players from particular nation, which will ensure that the national team(s) in question will be playable.

What about with teams like Holland and Germany, how come we can't manage those, does anyone know

SI dont have the proper licenscing for Holland and Germany (and Japan). Hence many of the German players and teams are messed up.

This is very easy to fix but we can't tell you here....either search for posts with 'fake.ini' in, or head over to the sortitoutsi site.
