I've been looking for this kind of tactic for a while and i have to say i'm very impressed if you lookhere you will see that i've been using this tactic for 5 games and i've done pretty well. I did lose 8-1 but that was only because i changed my team around far too much and got punished for it. Won't do that again. But very impressed so far.

1st Game - Reading @ Home, Carling Cup
I'd had lost a couple of games on the bounce prior to this, and was looking to stop the rot.
Rooney managed to fire home a volley in the first minute. However, we couldnt dominate the game for the rest of the half.
The 2nd half came and went, almost with nothing happening, until Scholes popped up and slotted away cooly in the 90th Minute,
United win 2-0 and are drawn against Sunderland away in the next round.

2nd Game - Spurs @ Away, League
The first half passed pretty quietly, Paul Stalteri was sent off, Spurs only having one shot, compared to my 9.
Second half, Rooney created himself a great chance, but missed a sitter! Tom Huddlestone was also sent late until the 2nd half, leaving Spurs with 9 Men
0-0 Draw, a poor result in all fairness considering we played the majority of the game with a large advantage.
