Ok so my old tactic doesn't work since the patch is out. i dont really care as im doing fine with my new tactic.
Yes i know im playing a poor team but i still think thats pretty impressive. Anyway let me try and explain it. i decided that i wasn't going to try and beat the AI. I wanted to create a tactic that i would use if i was a real manager lol. its what id like to see liverpool play.
GK - team instruction here
FB - here i wanted my full backs to help in attack without losing they're defensive responsibilities, i done this by setting them for forward runs but not with the ball so they are not caught out, also lots of crosses to help the attackers.
DEF - i wanted to keep they job simple so creativity is 0, with no runs, through balls, nothing like that. although i kept the team mentality as the way i see it a defender will defend know matter how attacking you have him, thats his job. but the more attacking you make him the more prone he is to making mistakes.
DM - I believe every team in the world should have one, i wonted my dm to tackle hard put keep it simple with no creativity, put to use through balls i they tend to find space.
MID - Just keep his position as team as i didnt want him leaving gaps in the middle, he can attack and defend if needed.
WING - Well as you would expect forward runs beat a man and crossing often. thats where liverpool lack in real life, they cant beat a man, are closed down easy, which makes it harder to create clear cut chances
S - My strikers mentality is nearly all out attack as i want goals and want them to think only about getting them. The passing is short here as if your attacking mid-fielders are close by they should only need to pass a few feet, that way i believe they can keep more possession in attacking areas.

anyways, just tried the first link as i was using puds 433 set and up until january it was all good, since january i was struggling to even draw games. Tried this now that i've got the patch installed and struggled to draw 1-1 at home with birmingham (i'm liverpool)
