Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

i;m using spurs and losing like crazy. i'm conceding mad goals, like 2-3 per match. robinson sucks, cerny sucks, lee woon jae sucks

my whole defense is playing poorly

what should i do? thank you.

Try 4-1-3-2.
I'm playing with spurs and finished third in prem after first season with this. You have to ride out the beginning of the season while you wait for king to return. Also have faith in the younger players like Bale and Boeteng.

Man I have to agree. Spurs are gash in this game. I've been playing Football manager for years and I can't win any games at all!
Team concedes at least 2 goals every game and Berbs isn't scoring at all. Plus half of the staff are rubbish too.. What tactics are you using? Any tweaks?

I play a 4-4-2 attacking, won the UEFA Cup, League cup, FA cup and came second in the league. Tactic needs a fair bit of in game tweeking when playing away from home, tend to score quite early away from home (as there not expecting me to play so attacking) then I go more defensive and play a 4-1-3-2 or 5-3-2. at home I usually leave the formation all through the match unless I need a goal then I bring on a 3rd striker, or if I am under pressure I play the same as if I am away from home and leading.

Tactics

Honours

I only bought Downing at christmas in the first season, as I had disabled the transfers for the first window

Noticed you have dumped a whole load of players, and signed a lot.

Maybe your success is a pretty true reflection of the state of the squad at WHL.

Ramos is going to have his work cut out I think.

Anyone fancy posting their tactics for download here? I'm still struggling with Spurs. Been sacked twice in the first season already lol
