Guys, i dont know if its a bug or if the match engine gives too much 'oomph' to long shots but this always seems to be the best way to score.
I noticed that Van der Vaart was scoring a lot of goals for me from midfield so i bought a load of other players with great long shot attributes too, in order to test this. VDV, Matias Fernandez, Juninho Pernambucano and especially riquelme are just banging them in from 30 yards for fun. Buy any of these guys and stick any old donkey up front, its the goals from midfield which own!
Long shots, its the way forward.
