Very loosely speaking, short/slow/wide with high closing down. High tempo if a goal is needed. Free roles for Van Persie, Rosicky and Hleb; Adebayor as target man. How I've been doing it anyway.
Diving, cheating, using elbows, crying like babies when anyone comes within five feet of you, resorting to violence when things don't go your way, raging egomania and extreme myopia in evidence in post match deconstruction.

The best coaching set-up in the world.
1/10. Must try harder.
The toughest thing about replicating the Arsenal way is width. At the moment I'm toying with short/slow/narrow, but I keep wanting to switch to a higher tempo....

Add Cesc as PM and ticked.
FB FWR often
High CF on hleb, roscicky, mixed on cesc.
Im experiamenting with narrow width as i believe that we go in and out depending what we want to do. The team moves all around the pitch as in triangles so its very hard to replicate in FM. If there was an option to automatically go narrow/wide depending on circumstance eg attacking/defending then it would be much easier. The only thing we can do is create the same tactic with wide and narrow being different.
I started with Cesc as PM but have ditched that now, seeing as we play with practically three or four playmakers. Using narrow width too as I feel the description of "wide" is misleading- the '07 manual suggests that wide brings the full-backs forward more, whereas they seem to get forward when playing narrow too. It simply looks more like Arsenal narrow, HLeb/Rosicky dropping infield constantly, as irl.
