It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Lol m8 I have had success but funnily enough ive drew and won in high scoring games which included a 3-3 draw.

I think some people on these forums are lazy and will only download tactics as when i posted about famous styles I got no feedback apart rom one person who asked for the tactic.

I have created a good samba futbol tacticwhich is just like the brazilians play but I would like to make a cantenaccio.

I'm doing fairly well with liverpool, how did you go about setting it up? mines a 5-3-2 with the middle cm being defensive and one of the forwards holding the ball up realeasing the other(in this case torres who has got two hat-tricks in a row:eek. My sweeper isn't to effective but I reckon that's down to him not being a sweeper(waiting to get a work permit for Garay).

o ye well I was testing with Derby so any result was a good one.

I played basically the same but didnt have HUB on.

I had 2cbs man mark with 2 fbs tight mark with sweeper on lowest defensive.

Playing a direct quick game with CA ticked.

I think that may have been the reason why my sweeper wasn't to effective, I had his mentality to high.

I play with 1 goalkeeper (obviously), 1 sweeper, 2 centre backs, 2 wing backs, 1 defensive mid, 2 centre mids, 1 attacking mid and 1 striker.

And with 6 points from 2 games, I am yet to concede a goal.

Are there any recent examples of a workable "catenaccio" anywhere? I can't find any listed amongst the various sites. They all appear to be outdated in terms of listings.

well, that's catenaccio alright! just try to build up a somewhat more attacking tactic to use from the beginning until you get a goal. Then, hold on to the advantage for the rest of the game.

man, you just gotta love when a team does that
