It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Hi all

On the closing down of the DC on your screenshot it says own half, on mine it says rarely. any ideas why?

cheers in advance

I'm playing a similar tactic with Athletic Bilbao. But I have only one forward and a sweeper.
This tactic creates quite a lot of space in the middle because the opposition has to keep track of the wingers and wingbacks, so midfielders with good long shots can score some goals.

Without having downloaded either tactic as yet, I would suggest that was one of the tweaks that jespereh made - and, if I may offer my humble opinion, probably a wise one - High Closing Down and 2 Centre backs could be absolutley suicidal, because they will get dragged out of position.

Interesting tactic, actually looks very similar to one from CM01/02 that was absolutley superb and I've been bemoaning in a GQ thread.

Nah, the centerbacks currently have closing down set at 6 due to the instructions of the wing backs. Setting it much lower would create a autobahn on the wings, but then again I will consider tweaking the wingbacks forward runs to mixed.
It's correct that the centerbacks easily get drawned out of position which currently is a problem. Hopefully this will be solved with the use of either RoO or RoT.
