Any tips on improving a DMCs rating? Mine seems to be fairly inconsistent, mostly getting 6s even if they pass very well and make some tackles. Sometimes my DMC is making upwards to 80 passes a game with about 90% completion.
I have the exact same issue (not really a problem IMO)... I have been thinking about making him a MC with a barrow, but haven't acted so far.... despite him having low ratings, his passing and tackling is superb and he does his job really well (especially closing down).
so if they wanna give him a 6 every game, fine, as long as the performance holds up.
Seriously though, a DMC with decent long shots (15+ in the premiership) should be able to score some goals in a season thus upping his rating.
It may also be a good idea to set his mentality to more attacking, give a bit more creative freedom and set forward runs higher (hopefully he has decent decisions and creativity), thus increasing scoring and/or assist potential.
Great DMC's should also imo look good in attack as well.
So, it would be nice to know if everybody (playing a DMC) gets this problem. If so, maybe we can take this to the bugs forum.
I'm finding the same problem, and my DMC is captain too! I also find that a defensive-minded CM will suffer from this diminished rating problem, though to a lesser extent.
Ironic that this should occur just when DMCs in the real game (or at least in England: Makalele et al) are starting to get some long overdue recognition.
I got the problem, but I got a partial solve to it, my DMC is good on passing(19) and tec(17),therefore, I allow him to through ball a lot and give more direct passes, as my team is playing slow and short pass game.
He's getting lot of 7-8 ratings, and in case he got 8+, we must have win the game, and when he got 7, we wont lose at least.
