I have just been promoted with QPR and need to strengthen in almost all areas to be competitive in the prem.

Here is my current best 11:

Danny Haynes, Charles-Andre Doudin

Can people suggest excellent players to sign to help keep QPR up in 08/09 and progress in future seasons.

I have £13 million to spend.

Get a few loan signings mate. Get Walcott on loan. He'll serve you well on the right wing or as a striker. Also, see if you can get Yoann Gourcuff from AC Milan. They are generally all too happy to let him leave on loan.

Crespo is ageing but he's probably rotting away at Chelsea. Will be willing to come to you for a very small fee. Just offer him a key role. He'll get you a lot of goals as he is really good. Rhys Murphy from Arsenal is a good striker and is worth a look.

The best thing to do really is to go to every top club you can think and have a look at the players that are listed as backup there. Those will be available for their face value or less and you generally tend to find really good bargains. I dont know what your wage budget is (I'm guessing it wont be a lot?), but you might find some bargains. :thup:

Nedum Onouha is a fantasti RB, great at bombing foward, and scored 9 goals for me in my first season as Spurs, great CB cover as well. Deffinately worth a look, should be low in the Man City pecking order.
If you can ge him Adel Taraabt at Spurs is fantastic, play right across the midfield, two footed and develops into one heck of a plyer.
Also Jonathon Franks at Middlesboro has great potential, but probably isnt ready for the prem quite yet.
Chelsea should loan you Mancienne, and he will sure up ur defence well.
Btw, nice squad, Nordtveit and Merida are both quality signings!

Cheers mate. Had Mancienne on a season-long loan last season and will try for him again. I'll also see if I can bring in Nedum O and Adel T. Let me know of any others you think will make the difference.

Archie does Doudin score alot of goals for you because in my swansea game in league one he misses loades.

hey i too am qpr, i have 22 man squad 20 are english.
mancienne wont come he gets to big to even look at the super hoops ()
bojinov on loan bagged me 26 goals and a 13th place finish,
look at justin hoyte or bardsley on loan.
michael kightly (3 mil), matthew connally (arsenal wanted 5) i got him a year later from reading for 600k), ethrington (500k, and jack hobbs (3.8), all worth the money,

MY ADVICE, PAY OVER THE ODDS FOR THE ENGLISH, THERE THE BEST YOU CAN ATTRACT SO DONT BE AFRAID TO SPLASH THE CHASH YOULL GET ANOTHER 30 MIL IN TV OVER THE YEAR ANYWAY

Yer, Hobbs is fantastic, a little bit slow but hes pushing for a starting slot with ledley king in the second season at 19.
Also Giles Barnes is awesome, probably a bit pricey tho! Scott Sinclair is SO fast, brillaint striker, would probably go on loan too! For me he is a must have, going to be world class (hes a wonderkid in my game, 19 and SO good)
As for michael johnson for 5 mill thats AMAZING! Cant get him for less than 25! Still got Michael Woods and Dan Gosling instead, both are going to be amazing, once they've got a bit better! Not very suitable for the prem quite yet.

also have a great tactic, ive adjusted flanges 41212 villa. tactic found in the tactics forum cant find it now though,

i changed one or 2 things for my own preference but this guys basic idea of the tactic works.

michael johnson for 5 mil is my best piece of business on fm08 (that and jimmy the bullet bullard for free), hes was valued at 4.3 and only started 12 for city the prev year, so i put a cheeky 4mil bid in they came back demanding 5 .. ha ha demand and ye shall get

i agree with sinclair not happily though doing so good chelsea wont part.
dan gosling.... hmmm now theres a very good interesting shout may scout for a month or so,

i can get danny rose for 1 mil or porrit for 2.5 but my scouts arnt talking to highly of either.

trying to get a full english squad in the champions league might take time.. just glad to know others enjoy buying english and bot cheap bulgarians etc
