Hi all, first post here. I've just finished my second season as Notts Forest and after winning L1 (which no-one should need help doing) I've just overachieved massively by reaching 7th in the Ch (after media prediction of 16th).
Most of this was down to 3 players I've signed:
Nicky Maynard (Crewe) £1m (end of yr1, easy to sign)
Nengomashe (Unknown, bought from Sunderland), £400k (yr2 jan window, offered thanks to him being a bad boy - I've had no probs at all with him so far)
James Hayter (Can't remember) £1.3m (yr2 jan window, easy to sign)
These signings would also be excellent for any Ch/L1 side.
PS If you're Notts Forest don't ignore Wes Morgan in reserves, he will become very good very quickly
